Our preschool program for 3 and 4 year-olds offers a rich, structured, and developmentally appropriate environment that nurtures the whole child—academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. This program is designed to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond by fostering curiosity, independence, and a love for learning through a balance of play-based and teacher-guided experiences.
Curriculum & Learning
We follow a comprehensive early childhood curriculum that integrates:
- Literacy and Language Development: Daily storytime, letter recognition, phonemic awareness, and vocabulary-building activities help children become confident communicators and early readers.
- Mathematics Readiness: Through hands-on manipulatives and games, children explore numbers, patterns, sorting, sequencing, and simple problem-solving.
- STEM Exploration: Science, technology, engineering, and math are introduced through age-appropriate experiments and sensory projects that encourage observation, questioning, and discovery.
- Creative Arts: Art, music, and dramatic play foster self-expression, imagination, and fine motor skills.
- Social and Emotional Learning: Children build friendships, learn conflict resolution, practice empathy, and gain independence through routines, cooperative play, and classroom responsibilities.
Daily Routine
A consistent daily schedule gives children a sense of security and structure. Each day includes:
- Morning circle and calendar time
- Rotating learning centers
- Outdoor play for gross motor development
- Healthy meals and snacks
- Nap or quiet time
- Themed group projects and enrichment activities
Enrichment Experiences
In addition to the core curriculum, children enjoy:
- Music & Movement – Singing, rhythm games, and dancing
- Yoga & Mindfulness – Simple breathing and stretching to help regulate emotions
- Nature Walks or Gardening – Encouraging a connection to the environment
Family Partnerships
We work closely with families to support each child’s growth, offering regular progress updates, parent-teacher conferences, and opportunities for family involvement through events, classroom visits, and take-home learning kits.
By the end of our preschool program, children leave with strong foundations in early academics, social skills, and self-confidence—fully prepared for the transition to kindergarten.
